Stacha V. Amberlock, 83, formerly of Colony Rd., Enfield, entered into eternal life on Friday, (Feb. 28, 2003) at Kettlebrook Healthcare, East Windsor.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1920 in Suffield, the daughter of the late Charles and Camilla (Soboleski) Saruta.

Stacha was raised in the Warehouse Point section of E. Windsor and had resided in Enfield for over 55 years. Prior to her retirement in 1986 she was employed by C.E. Controls Division of Combustion Engineering for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, spending time with her family and companion (dog) C C, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Stacha was a member of St. Adalbert's Church.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Stanley G. Amberlock; three daughters and sons-in-law, Alane and Ronald Landry of Willington; Karen and Karl Anderson of Bondsville, MA; and Judy and James Krajewski of Wilbraham, MA; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jennie K. Zenzick in 1986.

Funeral services for Stacha will be held on Tuesday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Adalbert's Church.

Interment will take place in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Enfield.

Stacha's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday morning prior to the services from 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
