NOTE: The 2 little boys, Wm. Charles & Charles "Ernest", from Dora's first marriage were both adopted on 27 Mar 1885 - William by the Carl Duesterhoeft family of Austin TX and Ernest by the David O'Brien family also of Austin, who later moved to Port Angeles WA. Both of these families where members of St. Martin's Lutheran Church, where the Meinscher family also attended. Dora went into her second marriage with only her little daughter, Tonie, - who was born 3-months before she married her first husband, Vincent, making it unsure as to whether she was actually Vincent's daughter or making one wonder if perhaps Dora had been married before, as she was 25 years old when they married.
Dora was my great-grand aunt
