Robert Mark Viczorek
Resident of Cape Coral, FL.
1967 - 2012

Robert Mark Viczorek, beloved son of Roseann McFadden Clavelli and Robert Edward Viczorek, passed away in Cape Coral, Florida on Wednesday, February 8. Rob was fatally wounded when hit by a car.

Born December 3, 1967 in Rahway, New Jersey, Rob lived in New Jersey and Georgia before relocating to San Mateo when he was in first grade. Rob graduated from Hillsdale High School in San Mateo, attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and graduated with a B.S. degree from Cal Poly - Pomona. Rob played many sports, including tennis on the USTA junior circuit and later turned to golf - which became his passion.

After college, Rob worked in high tech before establishing his own successful business, where he became known as "The Glock Doc," providing weapons to law enforcement and citizens. Rob was highly intelligent, creative, talented, athletic, articulate and funny. He could brighten a room with his engaging smile and sense of humor.

His life, though well lived, was far too short, and he is sadly missed and survived by his parents and his brother Richard Viczorek (wife Sarah and their son Robert Edward) of Greensboro, North Carolina. Rob is also survived by Alfred Clavelli, his stepfather, and Elizabeth Mills, his father's partner. In addition, he is survived by step-siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins all over the country.

Services for Rob will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 10:30 am with a funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew's Church, San Mateo. Interment follows at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Los Altos.

In lieu of flowers, the family has established an athletic scholarship in Rob's honor. Contributions may be sent to Hillsdale High School in memory of Robert M. Viczorek, 3115 Del Monte Street, San Mateo, CA 94403.

Rob, we will miss you, and we will never forget you. We love you! Rest in Peace.
