MRS. E. ALEXANDER, 78, DIES AT HOME NEAR JACKSONVILLE
Mrs. Ewing Alexander, 78, life-long Randolph Countian died at 3 o'clock this morning at her home, east of Jacksonville. She had been in failing health for four years.
Born northeast of Cairo, Mrs. Alexander spent her entire life in that vicinity. She joined Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church, east of Jacksonville, when she was 12 years old, but became a charter member of Felps Chapel at its organization 48 years ago.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Drucy Alexander, and seven nephews and three nieces.
The body, now in the Snow Funeral Home, will be taken Tuesday afternoon to the Alexander home. Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Felps Chapel by her pastor, Dr. Allen Duncan of Moberly, assisted by the Rev. Roy Heifner, Baptist minister, also of Moberly. Burial will be in the Felps Cemetery.
