~For Norma's Mother~

Beatrice Bunch Brock was born in Eagletown, Oklahoma, October 4, 1925. The daughter of Suel Isaac Bunch and Elsie Marie Todd Bunch, she went home to the Lord October 14, 2010, just 10 days after her 85th birthday. Although she suffered a long illness, she drew strength and courage from her loving family. Just a couple of days prior to her death, through God's amazing grace, she drew on that strength and rallied herself to tell each of her children how much she loved them and to say goodbye to them. She had been in the long term care of her daughter. She was lavished with attention and love to make that time as special as possible.

A lifetime resident of McCurtain County, Bea worked as a Butcher for many years. She was a long time member of Lukfata Baptist Church. She loved to fish and hunt and her main passion was gardening for which she had "The magic touch".

Preceeded in death by her parents, Suel and Elsie Todd Bunch, an infant son, daughters, Ginger Munnerlyn and JoAnn Adams, brothers, Howard Bunch, Dale Bunch, and Suel Bunch, sisters Johnie Mae Smith and Hazel Shoults. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, one daughter, one step-son, one sister, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation is Sunday, 17 Oct 2010, 2pm - 4pm. Services are to be held Monday, 18 Oct 2010, 10am, in the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Hochatown Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Van Brock.

~*~This memorial is done with much love for my precious cousin. This was her mother - also my cousin. I hope I do honor to her for this cousin who has taught me who my "Oklahoma Todd Family" is and has always been. She has enlightened me, shared many stories of family with me, made me laugh, made me cry, and just loved me.~*~

A Daughter's Dream
BY: Willo Rain

I had a dream the other day,
And afterwards I had to pray.
I prayed "Dear Lord, Please help me through,
And make this dream be real and true."
See...Mama's sick and she forgets,
at times she says we've never met.

I care for Mama night and day;
I try my best in every way.
With each new dawn, it seems to me,
she loses more of her memory.

It's sad to see when Mama cries;
I hold her close and dry her eyes.
The dream I had, I wish were true,
that's why Dear Lord I've come to you.

In my dream a perfect rose,
was in the hand of a woman posed.
Then...I saw her walking near,
her eyes were bright and crystal clear.

Her mind was sharp, her smile bright,
She had a glow...a 'Shining Light.'
Loving words rolled from her tongue,
the ones I knew when I was young.

She held me in a long embrace,
as tears of Joy rolled down my face.
It was my Mama gleamed in wealth;
For You had given her good health.

The Alzheimer's disease that robs her mind,
Was gone because you love mankind.
That's when I thought, was this a dream?
And my tears began to stream.

Because you let me have a look,
at things You promise in Your Book.
So, now I know this 'dream' IS true,
It's all I need to get me through.

When times get tough, I'll hold her hand,
I'll try to help her understand.
That when she comes to live with You,
You will restore the Mom I knew...
