Jacob Bakeman died at his home on the County Line Road on Tuesday, age 91 years.
The funeral has held at the home of Leon Bakeman on the County Line Road Thursday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. D.H. Conrad officiating. Mr. Bakeman was born in the town of Freedom Oct. 19, 1812. Most of his life was spent on the farm where he was born. For the past six years he was been in very feeble health and has made his home with his step daughter, Mrs. Emma Bakeman.
The interment took place in the Sandusky cemetery.
Mr. Bakeman has lived a long life, and has been respected and esteemed by all with whom he came in contact. Most of his family lived extremely by all with whom he came in contact. Most of his family lived extremely long lives. His grandfather lived to be 116 years of age, and his grandmother 108. The ages of his grandparents are wrong.
