Son of John Taylor & Nancy Tate (ANTHONY) LOKEY. Married first on 25 SEP 1860, probably in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Leonora Cordelia "Dealie" POOL, by whom he had twelve children. Married second on 23 DEC 1892 to Clifford E. METHVIN, by whom he had two children, both sons. Died in Georgia Militia District 749 of Clay County, Georgia.

Doc Lokey and his girls, compliments of the Georgia Archives Virtual Vault. This is his home which was located 12 miles north of Fort Gaines.

Benjamin Lokey and his wife Lenora Poole buried in Midway Cemetery in Clay County, Ga. This cemetery is in terrible shape and needs to be cleaned.
