Elige Ankney Dies At Home
Elige Ankney, aged 88, passed away at his home 5 miles north of Oakwood Tuesday morning after a lenghth illness. He was a life long resident of this community.
Survivors inclue his wife, Nettie, and numerous nephews, neices and cousins.
Two children; two brothers and 3 sisters are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in St. John's Lutheran Church north of Oakwood. Rev. Richard Stadler of Paulding will officiate. The body will lie in state at the Stephens Funeral Home until time for the services.
Interment will be made in Sherman cemetery.
