The funeral of Leonard Amel took place from the M. E. church, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Len left here about one month ago for Eagle River. He was at work in the woods and received a strain, while rolling a log which caused his death. He was brought home on Friday. Leonard Amel was a young man of uncommonly fine character and was loved and highly respected by a large circle of acquaintances. None knew him but to love him and his death is a severe blow to this father, sister and grandparents. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereft family.
