Mrs. Edith Ruvene Smith, 83, of Marmaduke, died Saturday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.
A homemaker and the widow of Johnnie Smith, she was of
the Baptist belief.
Survivors include four daughters, Velma Coward and Dorothy Kappleman, both of Paragould, Wanda West of Rockton, Ill., and Wilma Jean Garza of Garland, Texas; two sons, Hollis Smith of Easley, S.C., and Doyle Smith of Chino Hills, Calif.; one brother, Ralph Melton of Taft, Calif.; one
sister, Evelyn Hendrix of Marmaduke; 27grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1 at Ramer's Chapel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Wayne Gould officiating.
Burial will follow in Ramer's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke under the direction of Heath Funeral
Home of Paragould.
Visitation was at the funeral home.
