Oct 10, 1894 Homesteaded 160 acres as follows:
E1/2 SW section 32 and W1/2SW section 32, Township 18 S, Range 8W, Ashley Co, AR.
In 1898 sold these 160 acres to E.S. Crossett, a Davenport Iowa businessman who then built, on that land, the Crossett Lumber Co, now the Georgia Pacific Company, and the town of Crossett.
The town of Crossett was, until after WWII, a company town, were all but four businesses, and all of the homes were owned by the Crossett Lumber Company

The Crossett Lumber Company is now Georgia Pacific, and is owned by the Koch Brothers, it produces cardboard and dumps the plant affluence into the local waterway as a result Crossett, AR is a town with one of the highest rates of cancer in the United States of America http://www.truth-
