Mary Adeline Alice Bell Mason was born December 24, 1855 to Mr. Bell and Mrs. Green Bell in Georgia.
On September 12, 1878 M.A. Bell and G.W. (George Washington) Mason were married in Lincoln County, Tennessee by Justice of the Peace John C. Waddle. Clerk P.D. Boyer recorded the Marriage License Number 180 September, 1878. The date and location of the mariage is also recorded in the Mason Family Bible.
On June 1, 1880, George, his wife, M.A., both ages 24, and their first child Charles E., a two month old son, lived in District 20, Lincoln County, Tennessee. Mary was a homemaker.
On June 24, 1900, George, his wife, Mary, and seven children, Charles, Lilly, Preston, Lula, Isaac, Felix, and Ethel lived in District 126, Justice Precinct 2 (east of the M.K.&T. Railroad) in Hunt County, Texas. Mary continued being a homemaker.
Mary's death is listed as December 13, 1909 on her headstone. The 1910 U.S. Census lists Mary as living with her husband, George W., both ages 54 , and five of their children, Lily, Preston, Isaac, Felix, and Ethel.
