He was the second of a family of eight children, names; Claude of Miles City, Mont.; Allen of West Frankfort, Ill.; True of Sapulpa, Okla.; Frances of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Edgar Williams of West Union, Ill; and Cleona at home. One child, a daughter, died in infancy.
Arthur volunteered and was accepted for service soon after our country entered the World War. After a few months in the service he was honorably discharged because of physical disability.
Interment was in the Lindley Cemetery (actually is Harrison Cemetery) with Rev. Geo. Fuson officiating.
