Opal Imogene Doyle

Imogene Doyle's full life spanned nearly a century. She was born in Amarillo, Texas in 1917, married Raymond Webber in Nebraska in 1933 and moved with her family to California in 1937. She and Ray had four children. In 1952 Imogene married Eugene Doyle.
Imogene worked hard all her life and in 1973 she retired from her job as Clothing Department Manager with the state hospital system. She was employed by the State of California for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, sewing and serving her family. In 1970 she earned an Associate of Arts degree from Orange Coast College.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Doyle; her former husband, Raymond Webber; her parents, Arnold Bonds and Reta Lauderdale Bonds Roush; her brother, Jack Roush; and her step-daughter, Ronnice Doyle. She is survived by her children, Jean Krause, Gary Webber, Richard Webber, and Myrna Robertson; and by her grandchildren, Valory, Karla, Sheldon, Lynette, Leanne, Mark, Renee and Vonnie. She is also survived by her step-daughters, Janis Espinoza and Patricia Doyle; and by many step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 287 Poet Smith Dr., Auburn.
