Born to John Hugh Herrington (1861-1940) & Carrie Hudson Herrington (1868-1937).

John married Alma Davis in 1940. No children. John lived to 103 and brother Frank lived to 101. Sister Dollie lived to 102.

John Worth Herrington, 103, passed away Monday, Oct. 25, 2010.

John was born Aug. 18, 1907, in Taylor County to John Hugh and Carrie Caroline Herrington. He graduated from Bradshaw High School and had no military service. John married Alma Davis from Ballinger in 1940. He was a longtime employee of Boswell Dairy, and was a longtime member and former elder of First Baptist Church of Arlington.

Survivors: Sister and one of 14 children, Jewel Lawrence; numerous nieces and nephews; lots of great-nieces and great-nephews; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and now a few great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great-nephews.
