Douglas Fletcher Dies from Injuries
Funeral services for Douglas M. Fletcher, 18, of Ocilla, who died Friday afternoon in the Macon Hospital, following injuries, received in an automobile accident on May 2, 1965, were conducted at the Pinetta Baptist Church Sunday afternoon by the Rev. J. D. Murray. Burial followed in the Fletcher Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Warren Paulk, Charles H. Fletcher, James M. Fletcher, Thomas Frank Fletcher, Jr., Jack Mathis and Herman West.
The deceased was born in Irwin County, November 21, 1946, a son of Plemon and Nona Paulk Fletcher. He was a member of Pinetta Baptist Church.
Survivors besides his parents include four sisters, Mrs. June F. Harper, Augusta, Mrs. Alma F.Almand, Statesboro, Mrs. Linda F. Wilkins, Albany, Miss Maxine Fletcher of Ocilla.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
