at Home of His Parents
on North Side.

Bernhard Anthony, 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Bocke, 825 Cherry street, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock after being ill two weeks. It was thought by attending doctors that he was going to recover until Saturday when a decided change in his condition was noticed.

He was born in Quincy, May 10, 1907. At the commencement of the last semester, he entered St. John's Catholic parochial school and was considered an exceptionally bright pupil.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother and three sisters. Funeral arrangements are not complete.

Bernard Anthony, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bocke of 825 Cherry street, died Monday evening at 5 o'clock after an illness of two weeks. Death was caused by heart trouble.

Bernard Anthony was born in this city, May 10, 1907, and was aged 6 years, 5 months and 3 days at his death. At the beginning of the present school year, he entered the parish school of St. John's Catholic church, and was making good progress when his health failed.

He was a bright boy and his death is a keen blow to the bereaved family. Besides the parents, he leaves two brothers and two sisters to mourn his passing.

At St. John's Catholic church yesterday morning at 8 o'clock, the funeral of little Anthony Bocke, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bocke of 825 Cherry street, was held, requiem mass being celebrated by the Reverend Father Postner, priest in charge of the parish.

The children of the parochial school attended in a body, and four of their number carried the little casket. Burial was made in Calvary. It was a touching service, and one long to be remembered in the childish minds of the playmates of the little lad, who was a general favorite in the school and with the sisters.
