Frieda Schott, 81, of Jamestown, North Dakota, formerly of Kulm, North Dakota, died August 25, 1995, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana. Freida Klaudt was born March 23, 1914, the daughter of Gottlieb and Katherine (Becker) Klaudt. She grew up and attended school in Zap, North Dakota, they later farmed until 1968. Then they moved to Jamestown, North Dakota, where Frieda worked at the North Dakota State Hospital until retiring in 1979. She enjoyed all crafts and was a good German cook. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ,Jamestown,North Dakota, American Legion Auxiliary Jamestown, North Dakota, and the 50 Plus Club-Ypsilanti, North Dakota.

Frieda is survived by her husband, Emil Schott, of Jamestown, three daughters and sons-in-law, Diana (Mittelstedt)and Darwin Nill, Monango, North Dakota,Nickalona (Mittelstedt) and Floyd Meidinger, Leola, South Dakota, LuGail (Schott) and William Hamel, Burnsville, Minnesota; Three sons and two daughters-in-law, Wesley and Betty Mittelstedt, Washburn, North Dakota, Floyd Mittelstedt, Ontario, California, Clayton and JoAnn Schott, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; three borthers, Reinhold Klaudt, Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel Klaudt, Kansas City, Kansas, Christ Klaudt, Omaha, Nebraska; one sister, Katherine Hudson, Bozeman, Montana; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband (Rudolph Mittelstedt), six borthers, and three sisters.
