Gerhard H. Bartelt, Jr., and Wilhelmina H. Eggerson, two prominent South Side young people, were married last night [27 Oct 1899] by Rev. Gottlieb D. Wobus, pastor of St. Paul's German Evangelical church.
A reception was tendered at the home of the bride's parents and a banquet served, many of the best people of the South Side being present.
The groom is the son of G. H. Bartelt and is employed in his father's store at 1100 Adams street. The bride is an estimable lady and has a large number of friends.
