A beloved friend, daughter, and sister who entered into rest Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Memorial Health University in Savannah, Ga. Jessica, daughter of Kelly Fulmer Ikner, Paul B. Ikner, and the late Daniel Lee Fulmer. In addition to her parents, include her brothers, Brian Ikner and Zachary Ikner; grandparents, Betty J. Fulmer and Morris L. Fulmer, and Betty and the late Leon Tharpe; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jessica was a life long resident of Augusta, Georgia.She was a 2005 Lakeside High School graduate. Jessica was a Junior at Georgia Southern University majoring in Nursing. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and the Freshman Honor Society. She was also a member of New Hope Church of God in Augusta.
Jessica, and two of her best friends, Melissa K. Eustice and Jamie L. Carter (all three girls are pictured to the right), were killed in a car wreck while driving back from an engagement party in Atlanta. The SUV they were driving flipped several times after another vehicle ran them off the road. The driver responsible for this tragic accident never stopped. Jessica was buried on Valentines Day next to her birth father, Daniel L. Fulmer , who was killed in a car wreck when she was just three years old.
