She was born June 20, 1934 in Toledo, to John and Christine (Mehrtens) Finn, both now deceased.
Finn was a graduate of Central Catholic and spent approximately 30 years working for Ohio Bell in Toledo. She was a member of St. Patrick’s of Heatherdowns Catholic church in Toledo and Holy Cross Catholic church in Palmetto, Florida. She had also been active in Terra Ceia Manor where she lived with her brother Gene and sister-in-law Lanore. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, spending time with friends, family and most of all her dog who she spoiled.
She was preceded in death by nine siblings: Ann, Ed, Mary, Jim, John, Jeanette, Paul, George, Gene, as well as long time friend Dolores "Dee" Rosebrock.
She had no children and had never married, but is survived in death by many nieces and nephews, cousins especially close cousin Nancy Endres, friends Laura Arroyo and Lora Ziegler and her beloved dog, Lowzie.
Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, September 18, at Coyle Funeral Home in Toledo, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd, from 4-7 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m.
Cremation is being handled by Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton, Florida. A funeral mass will be celebrated in October at her home church in Palmetto, FL.
