Mary Reges Baker, 70, passed away Monday August 4, 2014. She was born December 15, 1943 in Nash County to the late Clyde and Esther Mitchell Reges. Mary will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Baker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Keith Sutton and wife Kim, Kurt Sutton and his wife Pam, Kara Denton and fiancé Tommy Hopkins, Shannon Baker, one sister, Jean Jones, six grandchildren, Jordon Baker, Gregory Sutton, Tyler and Rachel Batchelor, Michael Sutton, Ashley Taylor and husband Thomas, special friends, Judy Lindsey, Gwen and Ann Richardson.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Visitation will follow after the service. The family will be meeting other times at the home of Kurt and Pam Sutton @ 3854 Bend of the River Rd. Elm City, NC 27822. Private burial will be Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Evergreen Memorial Park.
