Helen M. Pratt, of Winlock, passed away on August 15th at Providence Centralia. She was born on Nov. 9, 1921 in *Locus Grove, OK to James and Myrtle Dobson.
Helen has lived in Winlock since 1983 coming from Chehalis. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Winlock, Olequa Senior Center.
She loved to travel, fish, camp, cook, gardening and visiting with friends and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband William "Bud" Pratt in 1994.
Survivors include 3 sons Art Pratt of Chehalis, Robert "Larry" Pratt of Chehalis and Jim Pratt of Centralia. One daughter, Joyce Jones of Olympia. Two brothers, James Dobson of Illinois and Jesse Dobson of Anderson, CA; 6 sisters, Lillian Price of Kerman, CA, Edith Wood of TN; Louise Chitwood of Madera, CA; Della Howland of Framingham, MA, Rosella Matthews of Fresno, CA and Mary Uhles of Arvin, CA. Numerous grandchildren and great~grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Winlock on Monday, August 25 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeff Spencer officiating. Graveside Services will follow at the Winlock Cemetery. A reception will follow the graveside at the Church Social Hall. Services are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.
