William Arthur Kirkwood 49 of 637 S, West Temple was dead on arrival at Salt Lake hospital 1 p.m. Friday from a heart attack.

Born 24 May 1914, at May Idaho, son of Maude Agnes Richards Kirkwood. Married Barbara Annie Baker on Feb. 9, 1933, In Salt Lake City . Employee truck division, Union Pacific Railroad, Kennecott Copper Corp. Member, Teamsters Union, Lodge No. 222.

Survivors: widow; two sons, five daughters, Jack Jones Kirkwood, Larry Carl, Mrs. Karl (Patricia) Jansen, Sandra Jean, Thelma Ann, Linda Lucille, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Kline, Sumpter B.C., 11 Grandchildren, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Casey E. Jones, Salt Lake City; grandmother, Mrs. Lodisa Jones, Payson; brother, Ted Edward Jones, Cram(g)er; sister, Mrs. J. R. Hamilton, Salt Lake City. Services are pending at South Temple.
