Mrs. Cora Dunn Chambers dies Saturday after long illness. Mrs. Cora Dunn Chambers, 77, died at the home of Roy Chambers in Himrod, Saturday, March 20, 1948, after a long illness. She was the widow of the later Charles R. Chambers of Himrod, who died January 16, 1947, and had lived in Yates County all her life. She is survived by two sons, Roy of Himrod, with whom she had lived for some time; and Leon Chambers, former mayor of Dresden.
Services were from the Thayer Funeral chapel in Penn Yan Tuesday with the Rev. Benjamin Disbrow of the Wayne Baptist Church officiating and internment in Lake View Cemetery
