Owings Funeral Will be Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs. Dilliie Owings, 76, of Route 3, Talladega, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of God with the Rev. J.O. McCain officiating. The body will be at the church from 1-2 p.m.
Mrs. Owings died Friday at her home.
Burial will be at Rocky Mount Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Walton and Homer Owings; four daughters, Mrs. C.L. Knight, Lanett; Mrs. Lee Hammonds, Mrs. R.E. Dalby, Mrs. Ed Ponder, Talladega; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Earl Brewer, Walton Arnold, Elbert Gibson, Doris Wolfe, E.H. Cofield, Ed Waites.
Honorary pallbearers will be W.L. Parker, Wren Waites, Homer Gravette, Lonnie Watts, Virgil Taft, Noah Sizemore, Walter Hamlin, Marvin Fulton.
