Louise Jackson Hutsell, 80, of Athens, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Lester Raymond and Ora Elkins Jackson and was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Hutsell, on March 18, 1982; and one son, Jeffery Thomas Hutsell.

She was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church. A retired employee of Textron Automotive Plant, she was a former employee of Goody's and Athens Hosiery Mill.
Survivors include one son, the Rev. Greg Hutsell and his wife, Lynette, of Riceville; one daughter, Ginger Queen and her husband, Mike, of Athens; one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Martha Jean Jackson of Athens; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Marie Coffey, Margaret and Chester Simpson, Essie and Don Wade and Polly and Charles Kincaid; five grandchildren and one spouse, Tanner Hutsell, Jessie and Jason Lovingood, Joshua Byrum, Sarah Byrum and her fiancé, Brandon Kamps, and Gage Queen; two great-grandchildren, Jack Lovingood and Mallie Belle Lovingood; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Hutsell and the Rev. Wayne Bryant officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McMinn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.





The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
