Mrs. Brown was born March 25, 1922 in Clay County, the daughter of Calvin and Elsie Delaney Harrell. She married Charles "Vaughn" Brown in 1940.
She was a homemaker, a retired bank teller from Clay County State Bank, and a member of Louisville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Ruth Ann Fancher; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Mike Harrell, and a grandson.
Funeral services were held at Louisville Methodist Church with burial in Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
