Edgar Leo Morton, 63, of 1225 S. Caldwell Street, Apt 107, died yesterday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salisbury.

The funeral will be at 2pm tomorrow in McEwen West Chapel with the Rev. Rex Horne, pastor of Eastway Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Morton; a son James A. Morton of New York; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Stilwell of Matthews; a sister Mrs. James V. (Johnsie Morton) Perry of Rockingham; and two grandchildren.

The family will be at the home of Mrs. Turene at 814 Tyvola Road and will receive friends from 7-9pm today at McEwen Funeral Home.
