David Hames died at his home in Webster Friday last aged 83 years. He leaves three sons: Peter Hames of Irondequoit, and Delevan and Horace Hames of Webster, also one brother, Benjamin Hames of this place, and two sisters, Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Lockwood, of Webster. He had lived in Webster for more than seventy years. Deceased was born near Penn Yan. The funeral was Monday afternoon, Rev. R. M. Connal, of the West Webster M. E. Church, conducting the services.
