Son of James R (Riley) Alley and Mary Elizabeth Sharp Alley. They lived beside Gideon Sisk that eventually moved to WVA.

Myrtle (died young), Milley, Ann, Mae, Lee, Olley, Thermon, Agnes, Esther, Fred and Margaret. There may be some more.
The 1900 Census list his birth as Dec. 1878. Margarets as March 1879. They had been married 4 years which would be 1896.
On the 1910 Census it says he worked at the Furnace. One child had died (Myrtle).
The 1920 Census listed him has a brick mason and living in the Gray Precinct on Van Line Road.
The 1930 Census says he was a miner in the Lead Mines. I believe his father was living next door with his sisters family. James R. Alley was 78 and widowed.

HEZEKIAH ALLEY
Hezekiah Alley, 65, Austinville, died at his home Friday morning at 8:00 o'clock. Mr. Alley had been in ill health for the past six years. He is survived by his widow, five daughters and two sons as follows: Mrs. Millie Davidson, Mrs. W. B. Fulford, Mrs. J. S. Fulford, Mrs. Early Porter and Mrs. Garnett (Margaret Tootsie) Sisk, and Fred and Thurman Alley, all of Austinville. Funeral services were conducted Sunday morning at 10:00 o'clock at Beulah church interment took place in the nearby cemetery.
