Ula Walton Bevins passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center in Soda Springs, Idaho.

She was born May 27, 1917 in Thayne, Wyoming to Charles Lorenzo and Mary Amelia Jorgenson Walton. She was the youngest of 13 children.

She married Delbert Bevins in Cleveland, Idaho and they later had their marriage solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

They moved to Wyoming and started their family. They later moved to Soda Springs, Idaho.

She worked cooking, cleaning and ironing for other people. She also worked for the hot lunch program in Wyoming and also for 25 years for the Soda Springs School District. She was an excellent cook and immaculate house keeper.

She enjoyed embroidery, gardening and sewing. Her greatest joy was her family. She was an outstanding mother and grandmother.

Surviving are Nancy Job and Gary Dunfee of Idaho Falls, ID; Linda and Ralph Stoor of Wayan, ID; Scott Bevins, and twins Ronnie and Bonnie Bevins and Bonnie Bailey all of Soda Springs, ID. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Bevins, an infant son, Daris Bevins, a daughter-in-law, Shauna Bevins, a son-in-law Danny Bailey and a grandson, Michael Dye.

Services were held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
