Mr. Bray was born in Pulaski County May 14, 1893, the son of the late Davis and Elizabeth Mayfield Bray. He married Hettie Farmer in 1914 and two children were born to this union.
In 1951, Mr. Bray married Alta Roberts of Sheridan, who survives him.
Mr. Bray worked as a carpenter in Sheridan.
Mr. Bray is survived by his wife; two sons, William Bray, Sheridan and Norman Bray, Frankfort, Ind.
He is also survived by five sisters, Mrs. Tall Denham, Mrs. Millie Cundiff, Mrs. Haden Rose, and Mrs. Vada Godby, all of Pulaski County, and Mrs. Mary Lovelace, Danville; and one brother, John Bray, Rockville, Ind.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Poplarville Baptist Church, the Rev. Lonnie Meece officiating. Burial was in the Poplarville cemetery.
