One Friday evening she was playing in the living room when she suddenly collapsed to the floor unconscience. I ran to see what the "thump" was and picked her up in my arms. As the minutes passed I began to feel her body grow cold in my arms.
I was so distraught over her needing medical help, I called "911", and I felt helpless to help her as they wouldn't come.
I finally knew what I had to do. I wrapped her in her favorite blanket I bought her and took her into the garage until I could take her to the vet the next morning. Indeed it was such a sad day losing her.
An autopsy from the veterinarian said she had a very rare disease called Idiopathy, meaning a primary disease, one not a result of any other, but of spontaneous origin. No known cause. Her organs were young and healthy with no signs of them being problematic. (Her ashes were placed into an urn with a statue atop it case and painted in her image.) I will always love you Sandi Kane.
