Mrs. Lydia Ann Briscoe, was born April 12, 1845 and died at Winfield, Mo. at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Blakey, November 16, 1912, aged 67 years, 7 months and 4 days. She was a Miss Broyles and was married to Thomas Briscoe in November of 1866. To this union were born six children, two of whom went to the other world before their mother. Mrs. Briscoe was converted early in life and united with the Old Alexandria Methodist church, in which she lived and died. She lived a Christian life, and has gone to her reward. She goes to join her husband and two children. She is survived by two brothers and two sisters, namely Andrew Broyles, near Briscoe Mo. and Samuel Broyles of Troy Mo.

Mrs. George Blakley of Winfield, Mo. and Mrs. Hetty Brown of Portland, Oregon. She is survived by many other relatives and friends.

The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Chas Lynch, in the Old Alexandria church, Sunday November 17, 1912 and her body was laid to rest in the cemetery at the church. To the relatives and friends we extend our sympathies in this bereavment.

NOTE: Lydia was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Jane Hines Broyles

Samuel's wife was Elizabeth Jane Hines Broyles. I'm not sure if theres a memorial for Elizabeth or atleast I couldn't find one.
Her birth was Apr. 12, 1824 and her death was July 28, 1896.
They where married on Elizabeth's 19th birthday on Apr. 12, 1843.

Thanks Gary
