BUNKIE - Services for Gladys West Allor will be at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Melancon with the Rev. Roy Stebbins officiating. Burial will be in Pythian Cemetery.

Mrs. Allor, 80, of Bunkie, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday in Rapides General Hospital, Alexandria.

She was once supervisor of student teachers at University of Southern Louisiana, Lafayette, worked for the Welfare Department and was executive secretary for the Avoyelles Parish Chapter of the American Red Cross during and after World War II.

She was a member of the Bunkie Housing Authority, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Huegenot Society of Louisiana, the Bunkie General Ladies Auxillary, the Pilot Club of Bunkie, the Eureka Chapter No. 65 of the Order of Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church of Bunkie where she served as secretary of the Sunday School Department.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph Hershel Allor of Shreveport and Charles Russel Allor of Baton Rouge; one sister, Eleanor Mae Carrol of Houston, Texas, and six grandchildren.

Friends may call in the funeral home after 10 a.m.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
