Donald Leroy Bolton, born on 26 March 1931, and died on 25 July 1937. He was the son of Willian Clifford Bolton (1899-1993) and his wife, Ellen M. McClain (1901-1984). Donald's Bolton lineage can be traced back to Henry Bolton (c. 1700-1756) of Pennsylvania.

Bloomfield, Neb., July 29 –Special to the News: Funeral services for Donald Leroy Bolton, who died Sunday, were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Methodist Episcopal Church here, Rev. J.W. Ekwall officiating. Internment was in the Bloomfield Cemetery. A girls' quartet sang three hymns. Floral offerings were many, there being nine flower girls.
Donald, who was the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Bolton was born at Bloomfield March 26, 1931 and died at a Norfolk hospital, July 25, at the age of 6 years. He was taken to the hospital Wednesday, July 21, for an appendicitis operation Sunday, his condition became worse and a second operation was deemed necessary.
Donald attended school district No. 156 and was a regular attendant at the Methodist Sunday school. He was baptized at the Methodist church June 10, 1934.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Marjorie and Elaine; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N.A. Bolton of Bloomfield and Mr. and Mrs. James McClain of Osmond; a great grandmother, Mrs. Sarah McClain of Randolph; seven uncles, seven aunts, and five cousins.
