Married Ruby Mae Reed on 9/16/1935 in Rockdale. Mr. Carvy was a retired newspaper man. He had worked as printer for the Rockdale Reporter, Elgin Courier and Luling News Boy and at one time was owner/editor of the Lexington Enterprise. He later worked with the San Marcos Record. Member of the Church of Christ. His hobby was gardening. 2 granddaughters preceded him in death.
