Chester Lee Patton, 70, of Escondido, California died December 28 in West Hartford. Born in Rossville, Kansas, to Charles Henry Patton (DOD 5/4/1941) and Lelah Williams (DOD 8/28/1961) Patton. He had lived in California for 17 years. Mr. Patton had been a sales representative for a plumbing supply company in California for many years.
He leaves his wife, Lola Luella (Harden) Patton of Escondido,California, a daughter, Charlotte Bockus of West Hartford, Connecticut; two sons, Robert "Bob" Patton of Walla Walla, Washington and John Joseph Patton of Escondido, California; a brother, Henry Patton of Walla Walla, Washington; two sisters, Becky Gleason of Walla Walla, Washington and Dorothy Connors of Kansas; grandchildren, Timothy, Daniel and Christopher Bockus, Robert, Ronald, Tamara and Mandy Patton, and a great-grandson Shea Patton. He is preceeded in death by a brother Francis Hammond Patton (DOD 2/20/1978) and a sister Emma Mae Patton (DOD 11/7/1989). He is also preceeded in death by a granddaughter Pamela Lynn Patton (DOD June 18, 1979).
