For more than half a century, Lorne Sanny was associated with one organization, the Navigators. From that one base, God used him to minister around the world. Was a member boards of many Christian and secular organizations, including Campus Crusade for Christ, OC Ministries, Mission Aviation Fellowship, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Executive Counseling, the National Educators Fellowship, International Christians, Inc., the International Council on Biblical Interrancy.
Dr. Lorne Sanny, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather--a Colorado Springs resident since 1953-died on March 28, 2005 of complications of pneumonia after several months of serious health issues and recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. He was 84. Lorne is survived by his wife, Lucy, his six children, Tom (Pam) Sanny, Beverly (Ted) Hough, Charles (Janell) Sanny, Cheryl (Jonathan) Downing, Jean Sanny, and Judy (Trent) Templeton; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and his sister and brothers
