OBIT: The Daily Courier (Connellsville, Pennsylvania) - 13 Jun 1935 "Mrs Charles Randolph Dead after Illness of Two Years.
Mrs Katherine Randolph, 76 years old, widow of Charles Randolph, died Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her son in law and daughter Mr and Mrs J Frank Rust of Blackstone Road, with whom she had lived for 12 years. She had been in failing health for 2 years and seriously ill for 3 months.
Mrs Randolph was born at Jacobs Creek, 8 Apr 1859, a daughter of Mr and Mrs Amzi Flack. She lived there until her marriage when she and her husband located at East Liberty, Dunbar Township, where she lived until 12 years ago, when at the death of Mr Randolph, she came to make her home with the Rusts. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving besides Mrs Rust are 4 sons, Clyde of Vanderbilt, Charles of Detroit, Harry of East Oange, NJ and Edward of New Kensington. There is also one brother, J B Flack of Jacobs Creek.
The funeral service will be held at the Rust home Friday at 2 o'clock, with Rev R P Browell of Vanderbilt officiating. Burial will be in Dickerson Run Cemetery, in charge of Funeral Director Ira Blair.
