Lucy Eldridge was born about 1825 in Moldash. She married first Henry Bolton (sometimes spelled Balton) December 1854 at West Ashford, Kent.
They had two known sons, Thomas and Henry J. Bolton.
Lucy Bolton married Edward Chambers (his second wife and her second husband) 8 July 1875 at Charing Heath Holy Trinity Church.
In 1881, Edward Chambers is listed as a farm bailiff with wife Lucy Chambers. They are living at New Shelve, Lenham. Household members include Isaac Chambers, 40, groom; Henry J. Balton 9 (born Lenham,son of Lucy and her first husband);
John Balton 54, born Charing (probably a brother-in-law of Lucy's);

Lucy Chambers died 24 Dec 1890, Hollingbourne District, and is buried next to Edward's first wife, Mary Ann . Her death was proved by Thomas Bolton of Lenham, farm bailiff, son and sole executor.
In 1891, Edward Chambers is a widower, age 81, living at New Shelve Cottage, a farm bailiff. Isaac Chambers, 52, labourer; Henry Bolton (step-son), 19, labourer; Maria Smith 55, widow, housekeeper, born Suffolk.
