Mildred L. (George) Becker, 92, died July 11, 2015 at Manor Care, in Vancouver, WA. She was born May 22, 1923 in Jamestown, ND to Fred and Lena George.
Mildred married Abraham Becker on January 3, 1943 in Jamestown, ND. They moved the family to the Northwest a few years later, settling in Clark County in 1951. She was a devoted, loving wife until his death in 1989.
Mildred was an amazing cook. She enjoyed travel, gardening, canning, and playing cards with family and friends. Her true joy was caring for others, especially the grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her son, Lonnie Becker (wife LeaAnn) of Ridgefield, WA; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Dixie Meyers and Darlyne Becker; and son, Jerry Becker.
Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00a.m.
