Funeral services for Larry Andrew Bridges of Winona will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona, with Rev. Rusty Keen and Rev. Rod Borders officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona, with military honors at graveside.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., in the Family Life Center of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mr. Bridges died of heart failure at Tomah Memorial Hospital in Tomah, Wisconsin, on Sunday, May 6. He was 66 years old.

Mr. Bridges was the son of the late A. B. and Annie Mae Bridges. He was a self-employed driver for Star Fleet Trucking in Goshen, Indiana, and the former owner and operator of Bridges Kwik-Way in Winona. He was a member of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona, where he served as teacher for the Open Door Sunday School class and as chairman of the Finance Committee and the Missions Committee. He was a lay speaker and was active in the Kairos Prison Ministry and the Emmaus Ministry. Mr. Bridges was a member of the Winona Masonic Lodge and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Bridges of Winona; daughter, Wanda Huggins (Darryl) of Winona; son, Larry Andrew Bridges, Jr., (Holly) of Winona; sisters, Mary Stigall of Phoenix, AZ, and Connie Cockrell of Mendenhall; brothers, Albert W. Bridges (Rose) of Star and Carl Traxler, Jr. (Conni) of D'Lo; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be George Harris, Jerry Flowers, Bert Mitchell, Danny Fielder, Jim Caffey, and Henry Allman.

Memorial contributions may be made to Moore Memorial United Methodist Church, Missions Committee and/or Family Life Center, 201 Magnolia Street, Winona, MS 38967.
