Mrs. Janice Charlene Jackson, 38, of Connelly Springs, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Jackson was born June 12, 1969, in Perry County, Ky. to Alex and Loretta Deaton Miller of Rhodhiss. Janice was a member of the Icard Church of God and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Charlie C. Jackson Jr., of the home; a daughter, Nikki Rae Chaney, of the home; a son, Jimmy Dean Chaney, of Connelly Springs; her pride and joy, a granddaughter Shyenne Rae Deyton, of the home; two sisters, Audrey Jordan, of Hudson and Alexandria Millerseitz, of Connelly Springs; nieces, Amanda Blankenship, Brandy Miller and Lisa Miller; and a nephew, Alex Blankenship.
Funeral services for Janice Jackson will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, with the Rev. Jesse Crider officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
