About William "Eli" Caylor
W.E came home from school one day and said that a boy from school had jumped on his back and hurt him .No one thought it was serious. He didn`t say any more about his back hurting. As the summer progressed,he would be playing, and then get nausea and vomit but in two minutes be back playing. W.E was taken to every Dr. known of. No one could find anything that would be causing him to be like he was.He said he didn`t like to ride in a vehicle ,because when the car hit a rough place in the road,it made his back and head hurt, but his family didn`t think about anything unusual. The last time his parents was fixing to take him to another Dr. that lived in Rambhurst.Ga.When W.E stepped off the porch,he was holding his head as if he was looking up to the sky,at that time he ask his parents, how far is was up there? And told them he was going up there someday. The Dr.found the trouble. Some of the Verdebra in his back had decayed and nothing could be done. This is what was causing his back and head hurt when he rode in a car and it hit rough places. W.E died before daylight the next morning. That was July 2,1937.
