Davey was my muse and my first exposure to unconditional love. She was a beautiful "tortoise shell" calico and was named in memory of David Villegas. Davey and I spent our days full of cuddles and kisses, laughing and playing.
Davey was the light of my life for seventeen years, enjoying excellent health until her kidneys failed, just one week before her death.
Thanks to Jason & Giselle for their devotion to Davey in her last days, and to Steve for donating a coffin for my meow-meow.
