William Harold "Bill" Woodside, 80, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia Priest Woodside; two sons, Harold Woodside (Jamie) of Iron Station and Greg Woodside (Jane) of Laurinburg; two daughters, Kim Crumpler (Kel) of Raeford and Tracy Seward ( Steve) of York, SC; two sisters, Juanita Williams of Laurinburg and Frances Yocum (Deryl) of Seattle, WA; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Gavin Clyde Quick.

Born December 22, 1930 in New Hanover County, he was a son of the late William C. and Gertie Hewitt Woodside. He served in the US Air Force and in the Air National Guard. For 42 years he was a sales representative for Luter Packing Co. and was the owner and operator of Bill's Cleaners for 45 years. He was an active member of East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church and the VFW.
