Hilda was the fourth child of George Burton and Pearl Mae (Shirts)Gilmore. She worked as a security guard for the REO Motors company in Lansing, MI, and retired from there. She had two sons, Bryce Frank Hill, Jr., and Dexter Richard "Dick" Hill, Sr. She was known for her awesome banana bread recipe, huge pig collection, and dancing skills. She had a twinkle in her eye when she smiled, as is evidenced by the picture at right. :o)
