Val J. Bielecki passed away on April 10th, 2014 at his home in Ogden, Utah. He was 82.

Born in Wallington, NJ on September 8, 1931, the son of the late Walenty and Katherine Bielecki, Val was raised and schooled in the Bristol Borough of Pennsylvania; graduating with the class of 1949. Enlisting in the U.S. Navy, he served on a tour of the Pacific. He was a Villanova University graduate and earned his MBA at New York University. Having worked for the General Accounting Office in New York and Washington D.C., he retired in the Ogden, UT area where he was actively involved in the community.

He leaves behind his sons, John Bielecki of Centerville, OH and Michael Bielecki of Byrson City, NC; grandchildren, Mykaela, Jordan, David, Bradleigh, Alexandra , Jayden and Johnathan; his sisters, Emilie Petrick and Jean Schaum both of Bristol; his nephews, William and Jeffery Petrick; nieces Jacqueline Caywood and Jean Deery Schaum; along with several great nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his sister, Sophie Ennis of Bristol and nephew, Donald Schaum also of Bristol.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at The Newman Center, 3738 Custer Avenue in Ogden. Friends may visit family on Tuesday evening at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Autism Speaks at www.Autismspeaks.org.
